Suicide:-
Suicide is the process of purposely ending one's own life. The way societies view suicide varies widely according to culture and religion. For example, many Western cultures, as well as mainstream Judaism, Islam, and Christianity tend to view killing oneself as quite negative.
Causes:-
1-mental illness.
2-lose a loved.
3- friends and family members are often devastating.
4-The loss of other privileges.
Signs and Symptoms:-
1-suddenly visiting friends or family members (one last time),
2-buying instruments of suicide like a gun, hose, rope or medications,
3-a sudden and significant decline or improvement in mood, or writing a suicide note.
4-Contrary to popular belief, many people who complete suicide do not tell any mental-health professional they plan to kill themselves in the months before they do so.
Nursing care:-
1-family care (special care).a
2-friends help or care.
3- hold all medications to prevent overdose.
4-removing knives, guns and other weapons from the home.
5-getting together with others to prevent isolation,
6-scheduling stress-relieving activities every day.
7-writing down feelings, including positive ones,
8- avoiding the use of alcohol or other drugs.
9-anti psychotic drugs.
